The fonts area of the settings (.set) file, lets you control:
- Which PostScript font names are assigned to the CAD style names
- Which True Type fonts are assigned to the CAD style names
- Which CAD shx fonts are assigned to the CAD text style names
- To use or not use the cad scaling for the fonts in the output file
- To use or not use the cad obliquing values for the fonts in the output file
These controls allow you to substitute a different font for the original CAD font. This can then let you have editable and searchable text in output files for Acrobat PDF and Illustrator.
