The following download file is the latest Cad Publisher exe file and it is 1.9.038.exe
That stands for Version 1.9, build 38.
Your licence file will need to be a June 2006 or later to run it. You can always run the latest update without a current license, however the software run as a Tryout.
Using the update
- Copy the exe file to your current Cad Publisher main folder.
- We recommend that you keep the Cad Publisher exe file using its unique name as it easily identifies the version and build.
- Adjust the Properties of the shortcut on the Desktop to the new exe file name.
- Right click on the Cad Publisher icon.
- Select Properties
- Select Shortcut
- Edit the Target exe name to the new exe file.
You can check what version you have by selecting Help > About Cad Publisher from the main menus.
You can always run the software with an out of date support licence, it will however, produce the output files in Tryout mode. It scrambles the text.

If you wish to do a complete new intallation then you need to:
- Send us an email to get the link to download the full installation
- Install it in a new folder
- Copy across your "name".lic file to the new folder
- The licence file now controls the version and date of the software you can run
- From release 1.9.013 the licence file will be issued in your name such as GraphicsCo.lic and it isn't necessary to have it called aset.lic
If you do the new installation and don't copy across your licence file then the software will run as the Tryout.
As it is a new exe name you may need to change the Properties of the Cad Publisher Shortcut iconon the Desktop.
